So, what’s the government’s FREE energy improvement scheme all about?

Launched in 2013, the scheme has been set up to allow low-income households and households on certain state benefits, to receive energy saving improvement’s to aid what they class as ‘fuel poverty’. This scheme is in line and in place with the governments year 2050 net zero targets, and targets to achieve properties minimum energy efficiency EPC rating to C by 2027 and B rating by 2030.
